Bangkok

The only place Bu and I can afford to visit due to poverty for the past few vacations.
Still.... I like the place.
A little more than a week since we returned
and I already miss the land of smiles, cheap bargains and delicious tom yum soup.
Oh... go check out the pixs.....

I think mum, dad & Von are terribly relieved that I'm back
coz of wat's been happening the past few days. tsunami.
Scary huh ... but I wouldn't have been affected even if I had stayed there till then....
Von... go take Geog classes. *grinz*

If I were to sum up this trip,
"friends' company were enjoyable,
pretty sights were enchanting,
new knowledge was enriching & educational and,
many display of emotions (those of you... you know wat I mean).
Most importantly, the shopping was really really fulfilling."


Tsunami

Why do you have to come?
It is really depressing to see the number of death escalating the past few days.
I asked bu "Is this a sign of the end times?"
He just shrugged his shoulders.
I nearly cried as I watched the CNA reports about how a father witnessed his daughter die as she called out for mummy.
But I bit my lips and held my tears back... afraid that someone would laugh at me.
The million dollar question....
Why did God allow it to happen?
and on the day after Christmas?!?!
I don't think anyone has the answer except God himself.
All I know is that this must be part of His plan for something greater and better.
It MUST be.
Still it's very scary....
Isn't another way to do things, God?
I imagine.... if this should happen to Singapore,
am I prepared for it? as in spiritually....
*shrug my shoulder*
I pray for Your merciful hands to be upon the affected countries.
Especially upon the victims and their family.
That You will grant them comfort and strength.
Thank You, God.


Funnie man

He came and sat beside me at the bus stop.
Started asking me many questions and provided lotsa information about himself ....

Funnie man: Why are you wearing shorts on a cold day?
Me: silence
FM: You like black colour? You're wearing black.
Me: silence .... trying to force an irritated stare
FM: Why are you carrying so many bags? (darling left his wif me coz he went to the washroom)
Me: silence .... contemplating if I should change seat
FM: Where do you stay? I'm a property agent.
Me: silence ... gave him one of my most vicious stare
FM: Are you good at organising things? I am.

Then... an elderly lady came by.... think she's his mum.
She also started asking me questions.

FM's mum: Where are you going?
Me: fishing
FM's mum: didn't you hear about the tsunami? It's dangerous.
Me: yah (smile patronisingly)
FM: You going alone?
Me: no... with my hubby.
FM: (eyes widen.... turns to mum) let's take a cab... it's not like we don't have money!
FM's mum: Don't want lah.

Darling came back juz in time to save me from these weird people.
I think he's heading for IMH (Institute of Mental Health) on bus 101.
seriously..........


All I want

I've got all that I want .... for the time being.
Canon Ixus 40 - advanced graduation present from darling
Ipod mini - advanced birthday present from darling
Bikinis (though I don't really foresee myself fully utilising them) - from mummy and darling
Darling.... I love you!!!!
I want a lomo camera next.... :)


Stained

My results script has been stained..... :(
by my Bahasa Melayu grade.
Like a chilli stain on a white blouse.
I am upset with myself of not having done my best for the initial test.
I'm sure that's what pulled my grade down.
Bu's gloating over it.... announcing to everyone my hideous grade.
How irritating can he get?!?!
