Goodbye 2007

Last post for the year.
For the record,
I love 2007...
Best thing about 2007 has gotta be Isaac,
not to mention that I worked a mere 4mths,
getting to spend lotsa time with my hunny bunny dino.
Of course the pro-rated bonus is not that pleasing to the eye due to the duration of my NPL,
but really.... I would give anything to spend time with my lil' baby.
I'm so not looking forward to the long hours at work next year, robbing me of my time with Isaac.
How I wish I can be a SAHM....
God, you hear me?
Maybe my wish will come true some day.
I'm waiting....
patiently.

Some more photos and a video taken just before the year ends.
Goodbye 2007.

Have yourself a merry little christmas ....

ChristmasChristmasChristmasChristmas
On this day every year, we celebrate the greatest gift that our loving God has given us.
His only begotten Son, Jesus, who died for us on the cross.
That whoever believe in him can have life eternal.

This year's Christmas meant even more to me coz God blessed us with Isaac.
He has brought so much joy into the lives of people around him, especially me.
I wouldn't know what I would do without my precious son...
and to think that God's love for us is so great that he would sacrifice his Son to die on the cross.
I don't think I can sacrifice Isaac for anything in the world.

Abba Father, teach me to bring Isaac up in Your ways.
Let Isaac grow in Your likeness.
May he love You with all his heart, mind and strength.
Amen.

Isaac's first Christmas
It's lil' Dino's very first Christmas.
He woke up bright and cheery at 8am.
I wished little angel a merry merry christmas with a big kiss....
Mmmm.... delicious :)
Then we woke lazy Daddy up,
changed lil' dino into his Christmas outfit,
and off to church the family goes.

The christmas service was nice and it was fun to see the performances...
Even though we cringed at some of them.
Hmmm... did people cringed when we performed last time?
After the service, we had lunch at Bukit Timah,
then we headed back to mum's home for a nap before proceeding to Eric's place for our Christmas gathering.

We had lotsa yummy food at Eric's place.
My favourite was Yvonne's potato-egg salad.
It is undeniably the most yummylicious potato-egg salad that I've ever had.
Too bad lil' dino couldn't eat any of the yummy stuff.
He had a taste of mango though.
He loved it!
Well... he loves anything sweet.

By the time we headed home, lil' dino was really tired.
He fell asleep in the car.
One regret....
I should have taken some photos during the day in church.
Nevertheless, it was a wonderful Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all!
love... Daddy Simon, Mummy Eileen and Baby Isaac

Isn't it nice when everyone's together, celebrating Christmas :)

It was the end of the day and tired lil' Dino was really puzzled by all the commotion made by the adults.

lil' dino burst into tears and clinged onto Gong Gong for comfort (Yi Yi says he's a deh bao)

Isaac ... still manja-ing Gong Gong

Heartache

I'm so terribly upset....
My heart is aching....
I'm nearly bursting into tears.
Some idiot in the office threw away my painstakingly expressed BM.
There was at least 500ml there.
WHO DID IT?!?!
My supply is at an all time low.
I had thought there was still 500ml to fall back on.
If I do find out who the culprit is....
I will #%^$@* him or her!

1 tooth

Isaac has grown his very first tooth.
*clap clap clap*
I can't see it yet... it's still hidden beneath his gum.
However, I can feel it when I put my finger there.
So for the record... Isaac got his first tooth at 8mths 3wks.

More outings and my first Christmas pressie :)

Dinner @ Fish & Co (Changi Airport)
Daddy and Mummy had dinner at Fish & Co.
I nibbled on my biscuit while they enjoyed their meal.
See.... I'm a good boy.

My biscuit's delicious

Give me the camera, Daddy.

Christmas pressie
I've got my first Christmas pressie from Yi Yi and Uncle Paul. It's a Lightning McQueen toy car. I love it!

I love my red car!

I can sound the horn.... get out of my way!

Pasir Ris Pond and Park

Daddy and Uncle Paul went fishing on Saturday. Since I couldn't fish... Mummy and Po Po brought me to the playground and introduced the slide, see-saw and swing to me. Guess I'll be spending more time on them when I'm a teeny bit older.

I don't really like the slide... see me frowning?

Don't like the see-saw too.... see, I'm still frowning

Erm... do I like the swing?

Of course I do.... see how I grin

Waiting for Uncle Paul to catch a fish ... still waiting ....

Our Bangkok Trip

The trip to Bangkok was wonderful but tiring.
Isaac was extremely cooperative throughout both flights.
He latched on during take-offs and landings and slept through nearly both the entire flights.
Well, he did fuss a little during the landing on the way back but he was really an angel throughout.

Lil' Dino also developed an eye infection during the trip.
I think it's due to the polluted air and the generally dusty environment.
It made mummy really worried.
I kept thinking.... what if my lil' dino becomes blind.
Mummy had to call the clinic in Singapore and Kao Fu & Grandpa collected the eye drop and brought it to Bangkok on the 2nd day.

Carrying lil' dino around was the most tiring part.
It's like carrying an 8.4kg haversack ... and this 8.4kg becomes 10kg when it starts struggling in your arms.
Thank God there was daddy and grandpa to share the load.
Erm... Yi Yi was not much of a help in the carrying department...
she was a great help in the bathing department though.
With the 8.4kg sleeping in my arms most of the time... I could hardly try on any clothes.
So I did not really buy much this time round.

I think what lil' dino liked most during the trip was his bathing sessions.
He seemed the happiest during bath time ... especially since Bangkok's scorching hot right now.

During the trip, Kam Mou seated everyone in the living room of her posh service apartment and announced that .... she's EXPECTING.
CONGRATULATIONS KAO FU!!!!

Unfortunately, Grandpa lost his camera and Kao Fu lost his PDA handphone.
Careless men!

In all, the trip was enjoyable.
I guess going anywhere with my lil' dino is fun.
It's fun having Isaac's Yi Yi around too.
Hope next time Uncle Paul can join us (that is if Yi Yi still want to travel with us).

Some of the very few photos we took.
Enjoy.

I love outings...

Especially when it's with my lil' dino.
So far, lil' dino has been to the Botanics Garden thrice, the Bird Park, the Changi Board walk, East Coast Beach, Upper Pierce reservoir, Singapore Science Centre ... etc etc etc
Oh... and not forgetting, nearly every shopping mall in town.
We try to make it a point to expose him to nature coz we don't want to groom him to be the next taka-wisma-vivo kid.
Anyway... Isaac loves nature, animals in particular.
He would coo at them and even attempt to touch them (the cats and dogs at my void deck).
He loves the bunny at my Mum's place.
He grabs bunny's fur and touches it's sniffy little nose.
I think bunny's scared of him sometimes.
Bunny: "Argh... that lil' monster's here to grab my fur!!!! Help!"
Hee ... enjoy the photos of lil' dino taken at some of his outings. :)

BOTANICS GARDEN
This was the 3rd time Isaac's been to BG.
We went early in the morning when it was not too hot.
As you can see in the photos later... Lil' dino got so comfortable in his stroller that he fell fast asleep.
Daddy and lil' dino
Zzz monster's starting to attack lil' dino
Mummy's still posing with lil' dino even though he's already dozing off

Lil' Dino's fast asleep.

EAST COAST PARK

We were there for dinner. We had yummy satay, rojak, mee soto and Uncle Paul queued very very long for his duck rice. After dinner, we strolled along the beach to Bedok Jetty.

Oh... and I pooped in the car on the way home. Daddy had to drive back to ECP where mummy changed my soiled diapers on one of the stone chairs. I liked the breeze against my naked butt. hee!

Po Po and Gong Gong and ME.

The three of us again

JURONG BIRD PARK
Kao Fu managed to get free tickets for us from his company. THANK YOU KAO FU. Yi Yi came along too even though she's terribly terrified of birds. Thank you Yi Yi... I love you!!! *MUACKs* But I guess I'm too young to really enjoy the place. It was super hot that day. Pampered Yi Yi couldn't wait to get into any air-con place. Actually Mummy and Daddy too. I think they enjoyed the tram ride the most.

Yi Yi and me at the entrance of JBP (still looking fresh and excited)

Keeping myself entertained while the adults had their breakfast

Me and my favouritest person... MUMMY!!!!

Me and my 2nd favouritest person... Daddy... but too bad... Daddy's favourite is the fish.

My family

Yi Yi , Mummy and me

Oops... we're trapped in the bird cage... Daddy help!!!

Mummy Penguin and Baby Penguin .... Mummy Eileen and Baby Isaac

Can you see the flamingo perched on my head?

SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING
I think I've been to most shopping malls in Singapore. The adults' favourite activity? Use me as a model for the ridiculous items and then have a good laugh.

I love Christmas.

Kao Fu and me

Actually, I was terrified of Santa...Po Po shoved me into his arms!

See... I was their model for this funny looking headgear

Hey... keep the paparrazi away!!!

Nice shades on a handsome looking boy :)
