Warning.... this entry contains sensitive issues.

Just yesterday, during CT, some KP shared about the Climate Survey Report.
The two main points raised were,
(1) Leaders practice favortism
(2) Workload is unevenly distributed. Favoured personnels get more responsibilities

My first response was....
Who on earth would suggested point 2?!?!
Isn't it better if YOU (the one/ones who made the comment) get less work?!?!
I'm damn puzzled.
I mean, I'm dying to be relieved of all my duties and here you are complaining about not having more duties.
The world is full of weird people.

Next, I had a depressing moment today, and then it made me think about Point 1.
I never really thought much about favortism, but what happened today changed my mind.
It's a pretty obvious sign of favortism.

I'm starting to think that I need to change a job.
How?

Our weekend (Mummy & Me)

I'm searching for my Daddy again.
I think he's gone fishing.
He didn't even bid farewell to me. :(
sob... sob... sob
Maybe he doesn't really love me all that much.
By the time Mummy picked me up on Friday, he's already gone.

I spent the whole weekend at Gong Gong and Po Po's house.
They bought lotsa toys and clothes for me.
I got to play with the rabbit.
Ee Ee slept with me on Saturday night too.
It was fun but very very tiring.
I think Mummy's even more tired than me.
She has unfinished work which she needs to complete by this week.

I miss my Daddy.
Can someone bring him back....
and ask him not to go missing so often.
By the way, I think my Daddy's ADHD.
Shhhhh ... don't tell him I said that.

Princess Hannah

My baby niece just turned 1 month old on 15 Sept.
We threw a mini party exclusive for family members last Saturday coz poor Hannah wasn't going to get any 1st month celebration.
Lil' dino got a chance to get acquainted with his cousin.
Anyway, it was nice to have the whole family together.

Proud Daddy Eric ... cutting the cake that Yvonne bought.
Lil' dino got the honour of blowing the candle :)

This is Princess Hannah ... isn't she a sweetie pie :)

I.AM.DEPRESSED.

It's been quite sometime since I've felt this way.
There's just too much work to be done and the problem is....

I.DON'T.KNOW.WHERE.TO.BEGIN.

I hate this kind of feeling.
If only things were just simple and nice.

Chickadee Dino @ The Singapore Flyer

We brought lil' dino to The Singapore Flyer last Friday, ie the last day of the Sept hols.
We had free tickets as there was a special promotion for teachers.
Anyway, the ride was not particularly spectacular as there wasn't much to see.
But I guess I shouldn't be complaining since it's FOC.
It was still quite a pleasant experience.
At least now I can tell my pupils that I've been on The Singapore Flyer. :)

Lil' Dino was a chickadee chick chick throughout the ride.
He was aware of the height and stuck to me like superglue throughout.
I'm really puzzled by his reaction coz it's not like we stay on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd storey.
He seems pretty fine when he looks out of the window of our 13th storey room everytime.
Maybe he was just cranky due to lack of sleep that day.
Well, some photos taken at The Flyer.
Enjoy.

Chickadee Dino & mummy before boarding The Flyer... Lil' dino looks blur coz he just woke up from his super brief nap

Inside The flyer... and it's moving off....

Still not too high so lil' dino ventured about with mummy in tow

Daddy & Isaac

Just passed the highest point ... a shot of the capsule after ours

Lil' dino clinging onto mummy like a baby koala

Capturing his worried look

Mummy: What's wrong with my baby dino? Why's he clinging onto me?

My first Swimming trip

Lil Dino had his first swimming trip on National Day eve.
We were invited to Edwin's place for BBQ so I thought it'll be a good time to let Isaac have a swim.
It's Isaac's first time swimming coz mummy, being the paranoid person, refuses to let lil' dino swim in a public pool for fear of urine, mucus and germs.
What if Isaac gets HFMD from going to the public pool.
Well, not that the condo's pool is definitely cleaner but at least it's not as widely used as a public pool.
Anyway, we ended up in the jacuzzi pool coz the water there was much warmer and Isaac could play with the bubbles formed by the water jets.
He was terrified for a good part of his swimming experience until a nice little boy came and play with him.
Just when I thought he had warmed up and no longer afraid, he flipped over on his float and went head-down into the water.
Luckily my reflexes was fast and I pulled him up immediately.
Lil' dino clinged onto me and refused to let go from then on.
Luckily he did not develop a phobia for water coz when I bathed him later on, he was pretty fine.
Guess I'll have to wait till his next visit to the pool to know if he has developed any fear for swimming.
Here are some pictures of my lil' dino, enjoy!

Looking puzzled... why isn't daddy swimming?

Random

Back after a super loooooooong break.
That's because I'm so damn bogged down by WORK!
I hardly have time to spend with lil' dino.
It's all thanks to my drippy-tap-nose that I'm able to sit here to blog.
Hugs and Kisses drippy nose! :)

So many things have happened the last 2 months...
Some of the more eventful ones.

Road Bullies
We met a road bully at IMM.
The brainless jerk swerved and stopped us using his car resulting in a slight collision.
The whole family of babarians including a femme barbaric youth came down and started shouting at Simon.
Guess, what, I finally found my voice and gave it to them too.
Not something I'm proud of but at least I managed to stand up to the bullies.

Ex-principal
I met my ex-principal.
the very first one I worked under.
It felt funny coz I remember the last time I saw her, she was still pretty mad that I had asked for a transfer, but this time, she held my hands the whole time we were speaking.
Weird.

Baby Hannah
That's my brother's darling princess born on 15 Aug 2008.
She's a pretty little baby with super model legs. Hee.
I don't have a photo of her yet but I'm get my hands on one soon.
Mummy's doing confinement for my sil.
There's some unhappiness.
I guess it's not easy to live in harmony.
Mum doesn't want to look after Hannah for fear of clashes with Mdm Xena.
Eric feels unloved because of this.
Anyway, it's complicated.
To me.... the responsibility of looking after one's child lies solely on the parents and no one else.
I can't understand why people would think.... "I'm so good to you so you should make sacrifices for me!"
I think ric's been poisoned!

Little Dino
My favourite!!!!!
He's getting irresistably adorable.
I wish I can spend every second of my waking hour with him.
He's super clingy to me too... and I kinda like it.
Except when I have to bath, prepare his meal or have my own meals.
Some of the words he can identify by looking at pictures and say, "ball (his favourite), book, bird, clock, car, moon, door, egg...)
Actually he's kinda slow in terms of speech I guess coz many friends' kids can say much more at his age but still, he's an angel.
He's smiley most of the time.
Cheeky sometimes.
Oh... he loves Yakult just like mummy.
He calls it "kult".
He climbs onto my back for piggy rides everyday.
He's so into climbing these days.
But he's quite a scaredy cat.
We brought him on The Singapore Flyer last Friday and he was terrified.
He clung on to me as if the capsule we were in was going to collaspe anytime.
But when it comes to animals, he's a daredevil.
We went to Lower/Upper Pierce Reservior on Sunday and we had to pull him back from chasing the monkeys.
My lil' dino is really cute.
What will I do without him. :)

Me
Work, work, work.
I can't wait for term 4 to be over.
I still dread going to work but I guess having Isaac around takes my mind off work sometimes and I don't feel so miserable.
Actually, I dislike talking to my colleagues coz the topic is always revolving around who's capable, who's efficient, who can do work and who can't, who's incapable, who's inefficient.... blah blah blah.
Sometimes, I really don't understand.
I mean.... who are we to compare the efficiency of a person.
What gives us the right to say who can do work and who can't?
Why do we judge?
If we say someone can't do work, does it mean we can do it very well or just better than the person?
I don't know but I hate this kind of talk.
It's just so judgemental.
To me, everyone has different capabilities, different talents.
The person who's so called, not as "efficient" might have a better character than you who claim to be more "efficient".
Maybe I'm just weird.

Well, that's all for now.
