I was going to put Isaac to bed when Bu announced it last night.
Somehow, my heart sank when he told me about it.
What is happening to humanity?
Has life become so cheap that people have no regard for it any longer?
Did they consider that by killing her, they are also killing the hearts of those who loved her?
I hate the damn terrorists.
It might sound silly but I do wonder at times,
if I've done the right thing to bring my lil' dino into this world.
The struggles and threats he has to face will be much more than what we face today.
Even I, sometimes, will question the reason for my own existence.
It's kinda scary.
I know that christians will say that our existence is to do God's work.
But it's not that easy to tell yourself, or rather myself, that all the time, especially when problems are aplenty.
Anyway, I said a little prayer for the girls' family and then I asked God to extend his grace and protection upon my lil' dino.
Please never ever make me go through the pain that the girl's family is experiencing right now, and if You really must, please give me double the strength to go through it.

Still working
This is the second week of the year end school hols.
Guess what?!?!
I'm still slogging.
Meetings after meetings.
Courses after courses.
Reviews after reviews.
I'm extremely tired.
I've not had a chance to rest yet.
Nanny is puzzled why I'm still so busy.
I suspect she even thinks that I'm out "playing" while she takes care of my precious son for me.
I really need time off.
I need more time with my darling baby as I can already see that next year would be even busier than this.
I was told that I'll be following up my class and my P has hinted that he wants a score of 270 and above from me next year.
This year's 268.
He wants the quality passes to surpass national average.
I'm freaking out.
It may not seem that difficult to attain for some but for the cohort in my school... it's a mammoth task.
I need sleep.... which is what I'm going to do now.
Good night.
Will post something about my cutie dino and more of his pics in the next post.
Stay tuned.

What Isaac's been up to...
My lil' darling's getting super-dee-duper adorable.
His current favourite character, other than his mummy, is Barney.
He'll pat Barney to sleep ... according to his nanny.
But I think he's advancing... in fact... fast forwarding to the terrible two mode.
He's getting a tad more rebellious,
a little more cheeky,
a bit more demanding,
somewhat stubborn,
quite temperamental,
and a lot more independent.
The worst thing is.... he's not afraid of me... even when I scold him.
Sigh.
Good thing is he's still kinda afraid of Daddy.
I really need to start learning how to discipline him.
I really don't want him to turn out to be a brat.
Anyway, things he's been up to lately...
He loves to help me prepare his porridge.
He will "help" dice the pumpkin, and "wash" the bowls.
Daddy's afraid that he'll turn out sissy.
He loves to beat the drum... especially when mummy and Isaac forms a mini-band with drums, xylophone and the maracas.
We'll sing "Happy Birthday", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and some other tunes from Barney.
He enjoys reading some of his favourite books by Eric Carle and Dr Seuss.
He likes "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" and "I'll teach my dog a hundred words".
But lil' Dino's attention span is pretty short.
Still it's amazing that he learns without you realising it.
Sometimes, when I read to him, I'll feel like he's not even paying attention.
But somedays later, he'll be able to repeat some of the new words.
Anyway, I think he's learning very very slowly and his vocabulary bank is still very limited.
Nanny thinks I'm expecting too much from him.
Lil' Dino's also becoming sort of a TV addict.
Mainly to Hi-5 and Barney.
He'll pull me to insert the Barney CD for him and then position himself comfortably on the couch with his Barney to watch the show.
Another habit which I think he needs to get rid of.
He's becoming more like daddy.
Isaac loves nature too.
He loves cats, dogs, rabbits... in fact, most things furry.
But then again, he's also a chickadee boy.
He's afraid of the sound of thunder and even the fake man in the kiddy ride.
There's so much about my lil' Dino that I want to document.
I'm so afraid that I would forget these beautiful moments.
I really don't want him to grow up.
If only he could stay this way forever... if only.
Ok, enough said... here are some photos, enjoy.
Isaac at East Coast Park. No swimming this time. Just a leisurely stroll. :)

With granpa?
Nope... it's with swanny. :)

Oh... he loves drawing... or rather scribbling
Sometimes he surprises us by wearing Daddy's shoes
Cheeky fellow lying on mummy's lap
Favourite activity.... stacking...stacking and stacking.
My current favourite photo of my Darling boy.
