Thought
If you don't watch it people will force you one way or the other into doing what they think you should do, or into just being mule-stubborn and doing the opposite just out of spite.

Walking with Dino - Arena Spectacular

Brought my hunny bun to watch the Walking with Dino Spectacular last Thursday while Daddy was busy gallavanting in Maldives.
How can we let him have all the fun right?!?!
Paid double the price due to some silly oversight of mine.
Nonetheless.... it was really enjoyable as the little boy enjoyed it totally and he was absolutely mesmerised and absorbed throughout the show despite his sleepiness.

He had told Ms Lin that 'Mummy said he didn't need any afternoon nap coz we're watching the dinosaur show"... which was absolutely untrue!!!!
I guess he was just overly excited about the show due to me hyping it up days before.
Anyway.... he fell alseep on the way there and I had to drag him up upon reaching.

I love the gentle giants 'brackiosaurs'. They look really magnificent.
The last part where mummy T-rex came out to protect it's toddler T-rex was amazingly thrilling too...
Scared my lil dino a wee bit though.
Maybe we'll go watch it again when the new baby is older. :)

Signed and Sealed

We're half way to owning our 2nd home.
Went to the lawyer's yesterday to exercise the option and paid an obscenely huge amount of cash (by my standards)
Signed the letter of offer from the bank.....
and we're nearly there....
In 13 weeks, we'll be the proud owners of our new home.
It all seem so surreal... just like it was yesterday that we were discussing about buying a new property and viewing houses to find one that's to our liking.
I hope all the procedures go through smoothly and we'll meet no hiccups.
Pretty please, God.

Sweetie Pie

I figured that if I don't blog now, I probably won't have anymore time once my little one pops out.
I have been wanting to write about this second pregnancy but time really doesn't permit.
Generally, I'm much bigger this pregnancy and am not as disciplined with my diet for this second one.
Little hunny bun.... aka Isaac .... seems to be quite positive about having a sibling up till now.
He has felt the little one kick him and seems to be aware of her presence.
He's even named her sweetie pie.
I really hope that they will survive well together... with minimal resentment and jealousy.

Dr Poon has given me the admission letter.... so it's about anytime soon.
I don't seem to have much emotions about this pregnancy ... maybe coz I'm too bogged down with the house, loan, Isaac's education plans, etc etc.
But I do feel a slight sense of fear ... will I be able to cope with 2 kids?
Without any helper?
I CAN and I MUST!

It's been a month since Lawrence passed away. This has been an eventful year.
Filled with mainly unpleasant events.
I really hope sweetie pie will bring more joy into our lives....
not that Isaac doesn't...it's just that I think we need more joy and hope in this world.
I worry much more now.... even about what if Simon also suffers the same fate.
I know it's morbid but it did really cross my mind and I figured that I will be able to manage but will be emotionally devastated.
Lawrence's demise has made me think about a lot of stuff.
Why did God allow it to happen?
What am I here for?
What really happens the moment our breath stops?
There are really no answers to these questions.
More so that now I'm far away from HIM.

Moving on to happier topics.....
Isaac is a joy... really!
I think he's one of the best things that has ever happened in my life and he's the best gift that GOD has given to me.
Never mind that he's mischievous and how others see him or even me... I still love the way he is.
I really pray for God's wisdom on how to raise this precious little one.
We're going to watch Walking with Dinosaurs-The Arena later.
I think I should post some photos here after the show.
Actually I really would like to write more in the blog coz everytime I read the past posts, it always brings back fond memories.
I shall make it a point to do so during my confinement.
I want record down my sweetie pie's milestones too!
